The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doherty throws a big shot that misses.
Chernov turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Doherty scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Doherty tries to clinch up.
Chernov fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Doherty has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Doherty sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Chernov slips a jab from Doherty.
Chernov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Doherty throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Some bone on bone action there as Doherty checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Doherty misses with a double jab

and Chernov counters with a crisp one two that drops Doherty! Chernov thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Doherty to his feet! Doherty is in big trouble!
Luther Doherty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chernov showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Doherty.

Chernov lands a big right hand that sends Doherty crashing to the mat! Chernov stays standing though and waves Doherty back to his feet!

Doherty is rocked!

It looks like Luther Doherty has been cut.
Chernov lands with a nice body kick.

Chernov lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Doherty seems to have recovered his senses.
Chernov lands with a nice body punch.
Chernov goes for a small jab and connects. Now Chernov goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Doherty stumbles back but Chernov runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Doherty to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Doherty will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
