Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Jane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brenden Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbott misses with a kick to the body.
Abbott throws a hook to the side of Jane's head but Jane sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Abbott just misses with a punch to the body.
Abbott throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Abbott throws a series of punches but Jane avoids them all with ease.
Jane swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Abbott displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jane throws out the jab.

Abbott closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jane's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Abbott lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jane has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jane and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Jane counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
