Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Agent 47 (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Blaze's choice of entrance music: Monster by Skillet. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Blaze tries to close the distance and clinch up but 47 swats him away and circles back towards the center.
47 lands a head shot.
Blaze pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Blaze darts in and clinches 47 up against the cage.
Blaze misses with a hook to the ribs.
Blaze digs a right hand into 47's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on 47's gas tank.
Blaze lands an elbow that stopped 47 in his tracks for a moment.

47 has hold of one of Blaze's legs. Blaze is fighting the takedown attempt but 47 gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as 47 accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Blaze had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. 47 defends it easily.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
47 keeps the fight on the outside.
Blaze tries to close the distance and clinch but 47 swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

47 is trying to control. Blaze wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
47 throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Blaze to regain full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Blaze is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blaze wanted to stand there but 47 had control of the position.

Blaze wants to stand and escape but instead 47 has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Blaze looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
47 trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
47 is pushing down on Blaze's leg trying to pass to half guard. Blaze is fighting to maintain full guard but 47 has managed to sneak the leg through.
47 wants to control but Blaze is keeping him busy.

47 is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Blaze is just riding it out for now. 47 eventually gives up the hold.

Blaze has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. 47 is working away from the top position though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Blaze manages to escape and get back to his feet!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

47 closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Blaze quickly recovers to half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
47 seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Blaze does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

47 gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Blaze.
Blaze throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Blaze fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Blaze wants to clinch up but 47 keeps it at a distance.

and 47 counters with a nice double leg into side control. Blaze won't be happy with that.
Agent 47 overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Blaze is desperately trying to improve his position but 47 has a good base and remains in mount.

47 wants to control the pace but Blaze is squirming around nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
47 lands a couple of good shots and Blaze has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Blaze is trying to defend against the choke here but 47 has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. 47 Tightens the hold and Blaze taps out furiously! 47 displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
