The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulse scores with a one two! Gracie had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Pulse stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pulse wants it to stay on the feet.
Gracie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pulse swivels and escapes.
Pulse connects with a single shot there.
Pulse swinging wildly here.
Pulse misses with a double jab.
Pulse digs a good hook to Gracie's body.
Pulse tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Gracie is able to avoid easily.
Some bone on bone action there as Gracie checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Pulse scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gracie doesn't seem bothered though.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gracie closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Pulse keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ben Pulse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renato Gracie.
