The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Black scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Maeda looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Black stands up.

Black gets a double leg takedown into Maeda's guard.

Black decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Maeda, up you get!

Black is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Maeda's half guard.
Black takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Black is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Maeda is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
