Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Clusos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Fernandes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Carlos Clusos has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Carlos Clusos seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandes catches Clusos with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Fernandes misses with a straight right.
Fernandes waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Clusos.
Alexander Fernandes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clusos is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Clusos throws a head kick that misses.
Nice takedown defense from Fernandes. No joy for Clusos on that attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Clusos is defended easily by Fernandes.
Fernandes works the jab nicely.
Fernandes throws a hook but Clusos blocks it.
Clusos shoots in looking for a takedown. Fernandes tries to sprawl out of it but Clusos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fernandes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Clusos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fernandes drops Clusos with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Clusos looks back up at him and smiles so Fernandes waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Clusos is rocked!

It looks like Carlos Clusos has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Clusos slips a jab from Fernandes.
BOOM! Fernandes lands a beautiful left hook that drops Clusos. Clusos tries to recover but Fernandes is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Clusos lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
