Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Felix Mayor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Hauser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hauser throws the kick towards the body but Mayor avoids it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hauser lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mayor has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mayor and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Hauser ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mayor moves away.

Hauser throws a low kick, looking for Mayor's leg but Mayor calmly moves out of range.
Mayor scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Hauser throws a sloppy head kick and Mayor moves out of range easily.
Mayor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hauser's waist but Hauser gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mayor off to one side.

Mayor seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hauser does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Hauser is looking to control Mayor's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hauser avoid being mounted?
Hauser is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hauser is trying to maintain the position but Mayor is very close to passing his half guard.
Mayor wants to take a breather but Hauser is having none of it.
Mayor looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mayor slips under a jab from Hauser.
Hauser lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mayor at a distance.
Hauser throws a body shot but no joy.
Mayor throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hauser on the side of the head.
Nice uppercut there from Mayor.
Hauser is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Mayor rather than just go for the knockout.

Hauser shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hauser showed some decent athleticism there.

That was a close round but I would say that Felix Mayor will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hauser has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Mayor moves out of range as Hauser throws a body kick.

Mayor throws a shot from downtown. Hauser moves away and avoids it.
Hauser's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mayor connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hauser scrambles back to his feet.
Hauser lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

A bone on bone clash there as Hauser blocks the leg kick.
Hauser throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hauser goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Mayor is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hauser can do to turn this around?

Hauser throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mayor was covering up waiting for the punch and Hauser finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hauser content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Mayor has locked up a guillotine! Mayor's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Hauser is holding on here and Mayor must be using up a lot of energy. Hauser has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Mayor gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
