The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Sheppards, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sheppards throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

so Bricks counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Bricks is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Bricks postures up and lands a big shot to Sheppards's brow.

Sheppards working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bricks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Sheppards is tightening it up a little... Bricks has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bricks reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bricks taps out! Nice BJJ there by Sheppards!
