Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Gary Clark Jr. - Bright Lights . There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rugowski looks to score with a jab to the body but Johnson is just out of range.
Rugowski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Johnson scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Johnson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A head kick misses from Johnson.
Johnson blocks a head kick by Rugowski.
Balrog Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rugowski gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Bubba Rugowski has been cut.
Rugowski fails with an attempt to clinch.
A jab from Rugowski misses.
Johnson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Rugowski checks a leg kick nicely.
Johnson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A cross from Rugowski lands.
Rugowski shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A head kick from Rugowski lands but Johnson takes it in his stride.
Rugowski bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Johnson scores with a sloppy right hand. Rugowski should have avoided that one.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Johnson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Rugowski lands a big uppercut and Johnson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Johnson looks OK. Rugowski waves Johnson back to his feet!

Johnson is rocked!
Rugowski ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Johnson's jaw. Johnson's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Rugowski does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bubba Rugowski!
