Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darrin Dalton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baldur Grimsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baldur Grimsson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dalton throws a combination that misses
and Grimsson counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Grimsson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Grimsson wants to get up but he can't break Dalton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Dalton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Grimsson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Dalton shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Grimsson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dalton as he avoids it easily.

Grimsson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dalton paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Grimsson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dalton looks a forlorn figure.

Dalton is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Grimsson.
Grimsson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Grimsson shoots in for a double leg but Dalton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Darrin Dalton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Baldur Grimsson.

Grimsson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dalton quickly recovers to half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Grimsson in particular looking to stall.

Grimsson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Dalton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grimsson on the ground.

Grimsson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Grimsson has hold of Dalton's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dalton seems comfortable defending it but Grimsson has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dalton is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dalton is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Grimsson couldn't care less - he's delighted!
