With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Altemio Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Risley scores with a decent looking hook.
Risley looks to score with a jab to the body but Sanchez is just out of range.

Sanchez moves forwards but Risley connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Sanchez slips a straight right by Risley.
We've been told by Risley's head coaches at Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Risley is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Risley is looking to slow Sanchez down with leg kicks.

Risley throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sanchez sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Sanchez misses with a short punch on the inside.
Sanchez jumps guard but Risley stands there with Sanchez around his waist. Sanchez gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Sanchez tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Sanchez isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Risley stacks Sanchez on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Risley!

Risley has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

It looks like Altemio Sanchez has been cut.
Risley is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Sanchez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Risley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sanchez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Risley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Risley lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sanchez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sanchez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Risley tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sanchez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sanchez throws the left hand but Risley avoids the punch easily.

Sanchez takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Risley fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sanchez.
