The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcilazo wants to clinch up but Onizuka keeps it at a distance.
Onizuka thows a body kick. Garcilazo tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Onizuka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Onizuka misses with a few strikes there.

Onizuka closes the distance and clinches.
Onizuka misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Garcilazo.

Onizuka breaks the clinch.

Onizuka forces Garcilazo back against the cage and clinches.
Onizuka lands a hook that snaps the head of Garcilazo backwards.

Onizuka breaks from the clinch.
Garcilazo tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Onizuka is able to avoid easily.
Onizuka tests Garcilazo's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Garcilazo closes the distance and clinches.

Onizuka manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Garcilazo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Onizuka escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Garcilazo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Onizuka pushes a forearm under Garcilazo's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Garcilazo is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
