PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tim Bucktoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kimbo Slice was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Bucktoo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice moves forwards but Bucktoo connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Slice shoots in for a double leg but Bucktoo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bucktoo throws a lazy right hand but Slice sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Bucktoo throws a jab but it's blocked by Slice.
Slice displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bucktoo throws out the jab.
A big right from Bucktoo misses.
Bucktoo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Slice avoids it really well and circles away.

Slice gets caught flat footed, as Bucktoo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bucktoo won't allow Slice to get back to his feet.

Slice scrambles and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A looping hook to the body misses from Bucktoo. Slice does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bucktoo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bucktoo misses the body punch

and Slice holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Slice gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Slice throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slice postures up in Bucktoo's guard and throws a big left but Bucktoo blocks it.
Slice is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Slice is sitting in close to Bucktoo's body. Bucktoo has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Slice is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Slice is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Bucktoo.
