The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fulton misses with a hook.
Krejza shoots for a double leg takedown but Fulton sprawls well. He's pushed Krejza's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fulton avoids a punch combination nicely.
Krejza cracks the inside of Fulton's front leg.

Krejza shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Fulton wants to control but Krejza is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Krejza enables Fulton to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Krejza manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Fulton lands a nice hook to Krejza's body. Krejza takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Krejza is fighting off a takedown attempt but Fulton is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Krejza to the mat. Krejza regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

It looks like Jenik Krejza has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Krejza is trying to escape the position but Fulton is controlling the position.
Fulton tries to advance to mount but Krejza denies him.

Fulton has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Fulton.

Fulton wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Krejza, who protects the arm well.

Fulton decides to stand up, so the ref orders Krejza to his feet.
