Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jaius Garcius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamed Khalidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garcius comes into the arena with Here we are Juggernaut by Coheed and Cambria blaring out of the sound system. Khalidov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mamed - CoreMoon kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jaius Garcius has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khalidov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Garcius sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Khalidov somewhat.
Khalidov shoots in looking for a takedown but Garcius manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Khalidov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

We've been hearing reports that Garcius has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Khalidov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Garcius - the referee stops the clock and Khalidov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Garcius. Khalidov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Khalidov enables Garcius to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Khalidov manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
