Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Avon Barksdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dyllz Tahere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barksdale comes to the cage accompanied by Three Six Mafia - Its A Fight . Tahere comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bob Marley - One Love kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barksdale is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Barksdale throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Tahere avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Barksdale seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Tahere uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Barksdale.

Tahere has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Barksdale lunges at Tahere with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tahere's hand.

Barksdale fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tahere looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Barksdale lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tahere circles away quickly and effectively.
Tahere throws a leg kick which misses Barksdale's front leg but catches the back leg as Barksdale tries to avoid it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Barksdale can't keep his opponent in guard - Tahere advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tahere connects with a nice short shot to Barksdale's temple.
Barksdale is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Barksdale controlling the position for now.
Tahere winds up and cracks Barksdale with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Barksdale is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Tahere scores with a couple of nice shots.
Barksdale has his hands clasped together around Tahere's back. He's all about the action.

Tahere seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Barksdale does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Tahere is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Barksdale is just riding it out for now. Tahere eventually gives up the hold.
Tahere is keen to just control but Barksdale is a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dyllz Tahere dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Barksdale lands a leg kick that knocks Tahere off balance momentarily.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Tahere in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Barksdale darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Barksdale lands a jab to Tahere's midsection.
Tahere takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

No joy there for Barksdale, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Barksdale jabs Tahere to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Look low, kick high! Barksdale uses the oldest trick in the book to send Tahere tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Barksdale is absolutely delighted - when Tahere wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
