Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Underwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derryl Karroki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gabriel Underwood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derryl Karroki!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karroki throws a left and a right that both miss
and Underwood counters by moving into the clinch.
Karroki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Derryl Karroki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Karroki misses with a combination
and Underwood counters by clinching up.
Karroki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Underwood dives in for a single leg takedown but Karroki sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Underwood keeps control of Karroki as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Karroki is looking to break free of the clinch but Underwood has double underhooks.
Karroki wants to get back to striking at distance but Underwood won't allow it.
Karroki is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Karroki has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Underwood is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Karroki gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel Underwood. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Underwood tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Karroki just stands there and leans against the cage.
Underwood pulls guard effortlessly.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Underwood looking for a sweep. Not yet Underwood, not yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Underwood is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Underwood thows a huge punch but Karroki dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Karroki wants to get back to his feet.
Underwood has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Karroki defend it? Underwood steps over the head and cranks it - Karroki is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Underwood!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Gabriel Underwood!
