Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Reinaldo Aruba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffrey Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller has chosen Killers as his entrance music. Jeffrey Miller will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Reinaldo Aruba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeffrey Miller!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid body kick from Miller.
Miller lands with a kick to the ribs.
Aruba dives in for a single leg takedown but Miller sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Aruba is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Miller is defending well.
Miller prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Reinaldo Aruba. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Aruba escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Miller thows a body kick. Aruba tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Aruba dives in for a single leg takedown but Miller sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Miller is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Aruba wants a takedown but no success here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aruba has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Miller avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Miller throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Arubas head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Miller creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Miller lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Aruba has Miller pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Miller manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Miller lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Aruba or not.
Miller scores with a nice hook to the head.

Aruba has picked Miller up - he's going for a ride! Aruba dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Aruba is breathing heavily.

Aruba is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Miller still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Miller has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aruba takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Aruba is looking to reverse the position.

Miller scores with a couple of short elbows.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miller in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Oh Aruba is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Miller creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Aruba sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Aruba tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Aruba manages to work his way to half guard, despite Miller's best efforts.
Miller lands strikes from half guard.
Aruba is looking to improve his position.
Aruba seems to have got his legs back now.
Aruba is staying active underneath Miller, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Aruba avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Miller.
Miller is nestled in close to Aruba, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Aruba keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Miller is looking to take a break and control but Aruba is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Miller uses his free foot to push down on Aruba's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Aruba.
Miller connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Miller working the ground and pound effectively.
Miller pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Miller looking to control but Aruba is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Aruba really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Aruba takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Miller's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
