Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Annunaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Annunaki might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tool - Aenima. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 18 - 1, fighting out of London, Bill Annunaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jonathan Hall!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall pivots, looking for a leg kick but Annunaki is out of range and Hall settles back down.
Hall throws a leg kick that is checked
and Annunaki counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hall's knee momentarily.
Annunaki chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hall can pounce on him.
Good leg kick by Annunaki there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Annunaki moves in looking to clinch but Hall pushes him off.
We've been told by Annunaki's head coaches at Laoch Den that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Annunaki fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bill Annunaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hall tries a head kick but it misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Annunaki. Hall does a little dance to reset his feet.
Annunaki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hall paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice uppercut lands for Hall. That snapped Annunaki's head back.
Annunaki is looking to chop away at Hall's legs.
Hall takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hall lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hall moves out of range as Annunaki throws a body kick.
Annunaki pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Annunaki wants to clinch but Hall slips to the side

and Hall counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hall is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Hall thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hall seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Annunaki does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Hall is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Annunaki gets back to full guard.
Annunaki can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hall controls the pace.
Hall wants to control from the top but Annunaki keeps moving.
Hall has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Annunaki is trying to keep Hall in close.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hall trying to control the position from guard on top but Annunaki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
My spies in Kebab House inform me that Hall has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Annunaki wants to stand but Hall is controlling the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hall checks a leg kick.
Annunaki misses with a body shot.
Annunaki fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Hall checks it well.
Annunaki looks to land a combination but Hall avoids it well.
Annunaki is looking to slow Hall down with leg kicks.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hall, as that shot connected.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hall. Annunaki does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hall throws out a loose jab but Annunaki uses good head movement to avoid it.
Annunaki tries to close the distance and clinch but Hall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Annunaki throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Annunaki is looking to clinch.

so Hall counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hall wants to pass the guard but Annunaki is keeping the position.
Hall is stalling in the full guard.
Annunaki wants to get back to his feet but Hall is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Annunaki is trying to hold Hall in close to prevent damage but Hall has managed to pass into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hall prevents Annunaki from improving his position.
Annunaki is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hall's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hall's back!
Hall turns into Annunaki and is now in his guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Annunaki has his feet on Hall's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Annunaki connects with a leg kick. Hall looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Hall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Annunaki moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jonathan Hall dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Hall keeps the fight on the outside.
Hall lands with a good body shot.
Annunaki slips under a jab.
Annunaki pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Hall tries to keep at a distance but Annunaki has taken the fight into the clinch.
Annunaki lands a shot to the body.
Annunaki can't find room to land a body shot as Hall controls the action.
Annunaki blocks an uppercut.
Hall has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Annunaki is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Annunaki misses with a short punch on the inside.
Annunaki misses with a hook to the ribs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Annunaki can't find room to land a body shot as Hall controls the action.
Annunaki prevents a body shot from Hall.
Annunaki lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hall backwards.
Annunaki tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hall's elbow.

Hall pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hall blocks a low kick nicely.
Annunaki tries to bum rush Hall with a series of wild strikes but Hall uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Annunaki buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hall throws a lazy right hand but Annunaki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Annunaki tries to land a leg kick but Hall saw it coming and moves away.
Annunaki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bill Annunaki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Annunaki checks a low kick from Hall.
A telegraphed right hand from Hall misses the target.
Annunaki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hall paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A chopping leg kick lands by Annunaki.
A cross from Hall lands.

Hall lands a nice looking body shot.
Annunaki throws a body shot but no joy.
Annunaki fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hall.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Annunaki tries to clinch but Hall is having none of it.
Hall takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hall misses with a wild body shot.
Annunaki misses with a leg kick

and Hall counters with a takedown into side control.
Annunaki is letting Hall control him for a moment.
Annunaki is trying to get back to half guard.
Annunaki pushes Hall away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hall gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Hall stalling.
Annunaki wants to improve his position but Hall is controlling well.
Hall is stalling here. Annunaki is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hall seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Annunaki has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Hall is looking for a sweep.

Annunaki wants to control but Hall is keeping him busy.
Hall is trying to control Annunaki's posture but Annunaki avoids it.
Hall sneaks back into half guard.

Hall looking for submissions off his back.
Annunaki looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bill Annunaki will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Hall swats away the attempt to clinch by Annunaki.
A nice leg kick lands there from Annunaki.
Hall throws a body punch but Annunaki moves out of range.
Annunaki throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Annunaki changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Annunaki fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hall has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Nice defenses there by Hall.
Annunaki lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Annunaki tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hall manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jab, jab by Hall - just one landing.
Annunaki moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hall scores with a jab to the head.
Hall misses with a leg kick.
Hall misses with a hook.
Hall scoring well with a low kick there.

and Hall counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Annunaki pulls Hall in to control the position.
Hall stands and throws Annunaki's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hall wants to lay and pray for a moment but Annunaki keeps working.
Hall just content to control the position.
Hall is chipping away with strikes.
Annunaki struggling a bit here.

Hall trying to control the action but Annunaki is working from the bottom.
I wouldn't like to be where Annunaki is right now.
Hall is looking to take a break and control but Annunaki is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Annunaki is letting Hall control him for a moment.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hall wants to lay and pray for a moment but Annunaki keeps working.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Annunaki throws a leg kick

and Hall counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Annunaki!
Annunaki sneaks back into half guard.
Annunaki keeping control of the position.
Hall wants to control but Annunaki is keeping him busy.
Annunaki has his hands clasped together around Hall's back. He's all about the action.
Annunaki trying to control but Hall postures up.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jonathan Hall comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Hall has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
