Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boof Bitzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Svork Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bitzer comes to the cage accompanied by Irigy Hónaljmirigy - Rúgj Chuck Norris. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Boof Bitzer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Svork Silva!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bitzer misses with a takedown attempt - Silva sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bitzer dives in for a single leg takedown but Silva sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Silva slowing the pace effectively.
Silva continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Svork Silva.

Silva closes the distance and clinches.
Bitzer looking for a takedown.

Bitzer drops down looking for an ankle pick but Silva pulls his leg out and moves away.

Silva is pushing Bitzer up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Silva is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Bitzer drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Silva lands a knee to the body.

Bitzer has Silva pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Silva manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

It looks like Boof Bitzer has been cut.

Silva has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bitzer regains guard immediately.
Silva is looking to work some ground and pound but Bitzer has wrist control.

Silva has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bitzer is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bitzer looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Silva won't allow Bitzer to sweep him here.
Bitzer has a closed guard, preventing Silva from standing up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bitzer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Svork Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bitzer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Svork Silva dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Boof Bitzer's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Bitzer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bitzer looks to land a right hand but Silva moved out of range.
Silva has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bitzer is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Bitzer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Silva counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Bitzer is trying to maintain the position but Silva is very close to passing his half guard.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Bitzer is trying to stand.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bitzer misses with a takedown attempt
and Silva counters with a nice kick to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bitzer avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bitzer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silva dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bitzer. That did some damage!

Silva moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Silva pushes Bitzer up against the cage in a clinch.
A knee to the head by Silva.
Silva landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Silva has hold of one of Bitzer's legs. Bitzer is fighting the takedown attempt but Silva gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva wanted to stand there but Bitzer had control of the position.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bitzer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bitzer has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.

Bitzer has a closed guard, preventing Silva from standing up.
Silva must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Silva missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Silva staying out of range there.

Silva shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bitzer napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Silva tries to stand but Bitzer is controlling his head.

Silva is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Svork Silva has got the better of the ground game so far.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Silva tries to stand but Bitzer controls the position and pulls Silva into his guard.
Bitzer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Silva is one step ahead there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Svork Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Boof Bitzer's cut.
That's time! Bitzer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Bitzer on that attempt.
A telegraphed right hand from Bitzer misses the target.

Silva drops Bitzer with a beautiful combination! Bitzer stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Silva is looking for the KO!
Svork Silva seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bitzer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bitzer shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bitzer ducks into an uppercut from Silva and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Svork Silva!
Svork Silva got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
In defeat, Boof Bitzer stepped up to the mic, saying 'yah can't win 'em all'.
