The crowd seem to be enjoying Kreese's choice of entrance music: 'Sweep The Leg, Johnny' by No More Kings. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as John Kreese enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tim Fala!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Kreese!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fala tries to clinch up but Kreese circles away and keeps his distance.
Fala looks to score with a jab to the body but Kreese is just out of range.

Fala gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Fala creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Fala lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Fala misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kreese.
Kreese managing to block the knees to the body from Fala.
Fala lands an elbow inside.


It looks like John Kreese has been cut.
Fala keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kreese's efforts to push away.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Fala obliges.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fala trying to land knees to the body.
Fala lands a good knee to the midsection. Kreese won't want to take too many of those.
Kreese looks winded!
Kreese takes a knee right on the jaw!
Fala landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fala lands an elbow inside.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Fala lands an elbow just above Kreese 's eye.


That has opened up John Kreese's cut even more.
Fala creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Kreese's defenses.
Fala comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Fala drops Kreese with a big knee straight up the middle! Kreese is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!


Kreese is rocked!


The cut above John Kreese's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Fala tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kreese was well out of range. Poor timing from Fala.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A telegraphed right hand from Fala misses the target.
Kreese takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kreese has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Fala moves into the clinch successfully.
Kreese takes an elbow to the forehead.
Fala comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


John Kreese's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Fala lands an elbow that stopped Kreese in his tracks for a moment.

Fala lands a vicious elbow to the side of Kreese's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Fala tries to finish him with strikes but Kreese still seems able to defend himself so Fala steps back and lets Kreese get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
Kreese is still on wobbly legs! Can Fala finish him?

The referee calls the doctor in to look at John Kreese's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tim Fala!
Tim Fala retains his super heavyweight title!
The defeated John Kreese had this to say: 'Defeat does not exist in my dojo! This loss will be avenged twofold -- against my opponent first, and THEN his students!'.
