Wilson comes to the cage accompanied by Memories - by David Guetta and Kid Cudi. Caesar has chosen Sir Digby Chicken Ceasar Theme as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave Wilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Sir Digby Caesar!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wilson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Caesar circles away.
Caesar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Wilson, right into the meat.
Wilson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Caesar gets a takedown into half guard.
Wilson is trying to get back to full guard.
Caesar landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Wilson wants to improve his position but Caesar is controlling well.

Wilson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Caesar defends it easily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Caesar slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Caesar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Caesar has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Soul Supremacy - UK. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Wilson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Caesar keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wilson's head.
Wilson doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Wilson throws a hook but Caesar avoids it easily.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Caesar as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dave Wilson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fighters circling - Wilson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Caesar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wilson manages to avoid it.
Wilson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Wilson gets caught flat footed, as Caesar shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Caesar's corner is telling him to maintain position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wilson keeping moving, preventing Caesar from controlling successfully.
Caesar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wilson wants to control but Caesar passes easily into half guard.
Caesar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wilson's head.
Caesar prevents Wilson from improving his position.
Wilson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Caesar.
Caesar throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Wilson wants to get back to full guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sir Digby Caesar dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Wilson misses the jab.
Wilson misses with a straight right.
Wilson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Caesar's hands.
Caesar throws out a loose jab but Wilson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wilson connects with a jab.
Wilson leaves Caesar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Wilson throws a series of punches but Caesar moves out of range.
Wilson throws a head kick that misses.
Wilson missing with a left hand there. Caesar was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wilson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.


Caesar is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Wilson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wilson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Caesar is still in real trouble! Can Wilson finish him?
Caesar tries to bench press Wilson off him but Wilson keeps the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Caesar is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Wilson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Sir Digby Caesar has got the better of the ground game so far.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilson scores with a big shot! Caesar's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Caesar! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dave Wilson!
Post fight, Dave Wilson stared into the camera and said 'Win or lose I'm looking to put on some exciting fights. I'll leave everything in this cage every time I step in here. '.
