Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 47 - 24 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sampsa Siloposki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Luca Turilli!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Siloposki keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Siloposki was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Siloposki tries for a takedown but Turilli circles away easily

and Turilli counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Turilli.
Siloposki is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Turilli is defending well.
Siloposki takes a knee to the side of the body.
Turilli scores a nice knee to the body.
Siloposki is breathing heavily.
Turilli using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Turilli lands a hook that snaps the head of Siloposki backwards.
Turilli tries to throw a body punch but Siloposki avoids it by throwing Turilli back against the cage.
Turilli pushes Siloposki back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Siloposki decides to pull guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Turilli is looking to stand up but Siloposki won't let him.
Siloposki wants to sweep but no luck.

Turilli gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Siloposki shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Turilli defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sampsa Siloposki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Turilli, right into the meat.
A clash of legs there as Siloposki blocks the low kick.
Siloposki fails in his attempt to clinch.
Turilli defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Siloposki.
Siloposki closes the distance and clinches up with Turilli, looking for a takedown. Siloposki pushes Turilli against the cage but Turilli circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Turilli with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The fighters circle momentarily. Turilli darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A chopping leg kick lands by Turilli.
Siloposki fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Turilli lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Turilli has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
No luck for Siloposki with that takedown attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Turilli throws an overhand right that lands on Siloposki's shoulder, as Siloposki tries to avoid the shot.
Siloposki takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
No joy there for Turilli, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Turilli dips to his left and cracks Siloposki with an uppercut!
Siloposki shoots for a takedown but Turilli saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Turilli throws a nice looking combination but Siloposki bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Siloposki has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Siloposki there as he acknowledges the shot.


Sampsa Siloposki's cut is getting worse.
Siloposki walks into a left hand.

Turilli misses with the combination.
An inside leg kick lands from Turilli.
Turilli swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Turilli pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Good leg kick by Turilli there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Turilli tried to score with a low kick but Siloposki checks it.
Turilli lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Siloposki backs up against the cage.
Turilli throws a leg kick but Siloposki checks it.
Turilli keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Siloposki moves away from the strike by Turilli.
Good work by Siloposki as he checks the leg kick.

Turilli steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Siloposki.
Luca Turilli is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Siloposki checks a low kick from Turilli.
Turilli ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Siloposki looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Turilli slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Turilli seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Turilli is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Turilli pulls Siloposki in to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Sampsa Siloposki's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


The fighters circling - Turilli throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Siloposki closes the distance and clinches up with Turilli, looking for a takedown. Siloposki pushes Turilli against the cage but Turilli circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Turilli lands a nice leg kick that just misses Siloposki's sensitive parts.
Turilli looks to land a left hand but Siloposki moved out of range nicely.
Turilli scores with a nice strike.
Turilli dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Siloposki fails with a takedown attempt.
Sampsa Siloposki is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Turilli swings for the body but Siloposki moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Siloposki looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Turilli has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Siloposki is looking to clinch but Turilli is avoiding it.
Siloposki takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Turilli throws a combination. Siloposki tries to block but a couple of punches get through.


Sampsa Siloposki's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Turilli just misses with a punch to the body.
Siloposki shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Turilli tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Siloposki was well out of range. Poor timing from Turilli.
Turilli throws a leg kick but Siloposki moved away.
Siloposki avoids a punch combination nicely.

Turilli drops Siloposki with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Siloposki looks back up at him and smiles so Turilli waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Siloposki is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Turilli stuffs the takedown attempt from Siloposki. Siloposki gets slowly back to his feet.
Luca Turilli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Turilli connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Oh Siloposki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!


Jeez, Sampsa Siloposki's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Turilli throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Siloposki seems to have got his legs back now.
Siloposki moves out of range as Turilli strikes.
Siloposki moves out of range of the strikes.
Siloposki looks for a takedown but Turilli sprawls well.
Turilli lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Turilli lands a jab to the head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sampsa Siloposki's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
