Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Bateman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giuseppe Maldini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bateman comes to the cage accompanied by Huey Lewis and The News - Hip To Be Square. Maldini has chosen Just one cornetto as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bateman lands a jab to the head.
A lazy left from Bateman finds it's target.
Maldini takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Maldini looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Maldini throws out a loose jab but Bateman uses good head movement to avoid it.
Maldini throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bateman's head.
It looks like Patrick Bateman has been cut.
Bateman on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Maldini avoids the head kick by Bateman.
Patrick Bateman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bateman throws a hook but Maldini blocks it.
Bateman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bateman jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A head kick misses from Maldini.
Maldini misses with an attempted mid kick.
Maldini feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Bateman collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

Giuseppe Maldini was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
