Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven NZonzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Monthan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steven NZonzi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Larry Monthan!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monthan on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by NZonzi. NZonzi obviously looking to wear him down.
Monthan takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Monthan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before NZonzi can pounce on him.
NZonzi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Monthan misses with a low kick.
Monthan throws a leg kick but NZonzi sees it coming and moves out of range.
Monthan closes the distance and clinches.
Monthan has NZonzi pressed against the cage, preventing NZonzi from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Monthan fails to pull guard.
Monthan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. NZonzi smiles and moves away.
Monthan walks forward, straight into a front kick from NZonzi.
Steven NZonzi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
NZonzi feints and then cracks Monthan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Monthan down.
NZonzi throws a head kick that half lands.
NZonzi throws a nice inside leg kick.
NZonzi throws a low kick, looking for Monthan's leg but Monthan calmly moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Monthan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
NZonzi moves into full guard.
Monthan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with NZonzi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Monthan wants to control from the top but NZonzi keeps moving.
Monthan trying to stand up but can't free himself from NZonzi's guard.
Monthan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. NZonzi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
NZonzi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Monthan manages to get himself to full guard.

NZonzi trying to control but Monthan is working from the bottom.
NZonzi works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Monthan trying to control from the bottom.
NZonzi missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Monthan is refusing to be controlled, as NZonzi sits in half guard.
Monthan tries to get to full guard but NZonzi has control of the leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
NZonzi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Monthan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
NZonzi seems to be working for a kimura but Monthan defends the submission attempt.
Monthan looks like he's trying to stand up.
NZonzi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
NZonzi has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Monthan defend it? NZonzi steps over the head and cranks it - Monthan is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for NZonzi!
