Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Quaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Slicer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Quaid might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Total Recall. Slicer has chosen Morbid Angel - Rapture as his entrance music. Douglas Quaid had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quaid tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Slicer was well out of range. Poor timing from Quaid.

Slicer takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Oooooh!!! Slicer has knocked Quaid down with a huge combo! Slicer steps away and waves a wobbly Quaid back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Slicer takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Quaid throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Slicer on the side of the head.

Quaid scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Quaid throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Quaid connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Quaid moves out of range of the strikes.
Slicer defending well as Quaid loads up on a big left hand.

Slicer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Quaid looks to land a left hand but Slicer moved out of range nicely.

Quaid is trying hard to land a takedown here. Slicer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Slicer lands a really nice looking cross but Quaid seems unphased.
Quaid jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Quaid. Slicer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Quaid will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Slicer connects with a body shot that sends Quaid's belly button to the back.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Douglas Quaid will probably get the nod.
