Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vince Hardy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Liam Neeson!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neeson tries for a takedown but Hardy circles away easily
and Hardy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Liam Neeson has been cut.
Hardy does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Neeson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hardy swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Neeson.
Neeson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hardy.
Neeson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hardy.
Hardy shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Neeson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Hardy lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Neeson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Hardy manages to pass to side control.
Neeson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hardy lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neeson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hardy.
Neeson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Neeson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hardy pulls his head out easily.
Neeson wants to get back to full guard.
Hardy slips a nice elbow through Neeson's hands, connecting with Neeson's forehead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hardy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hardy lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Hardy takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Ground and pound from Hardy.

Hardy prevents Neeson from improving his position.
Neeson is controlling Hardy's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Hardy stops Neeson from getting back to his feet.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hardy connects with a nice short shot to Neeson's temple.
Hardy thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Neeson's head.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Neeson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hardy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Neeson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That has opened up Liam Neeson's cut even more.

Neeson is still in real trouble! Can Hardy finish him?
The cut above Liam Neeson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hardy lands a big elbow - Neeson is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Hardy!

Vince Hardy was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
