Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Keelock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Hugsley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Keelock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Hugsley!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keelock misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hugsley.
Hugsley slips a jab from Keelock.
Keelock scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Hugsley throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Keelock shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hugsley eats them both and turns towards Keelock to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Keelock misses with a low kick.
Hugsley throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Keelock's head.


It looks like Matt Keelock has been cut.
Keelock tries to move into range but Hugsley moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Keelock throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hugsley misses with a body shot.
Some wild striking there from Keelock.
Keelock throws an off balance right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Keelock has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Keelock lands with a nice combination. Hugsley backs away looking to recover.
Keelock misses with a body punch
letting Hugsley counter with a right hand.
Hugsley moves into range and connects with a jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hugsley shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.


Hugsley is rocked!
Keelock lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hugsley circles away quickly and effectively.
Hugsley is still on wobbly legs! Can Keelock finish him?
Keelock throws a right hand that Hugsley ducks under and follows up with a left that Hugsley also avoids with ease.
Hugsley leaves his chin hanging out and Keelock seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Hugsley crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Matt Keelock!
Our winner, Matt Keelock, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
