Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Makkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makkonen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Santana walks into a straight right hand from Makkonen.
It looks like Ricardo Santana has been cut.
Santana buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Santana throws a jab when Makkonen was well out of range.
Santana chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Santana throws a looping overhand right but Makkonen ducks down to avoid it.
Makkonen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Makkonen tries to bum rush Santana with a series of wild strikes but Santana uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Santana looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Santana lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Santana lands a head kick. Makkonen smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Makkonen throws a shot from downtown. Santana moves away and avoids it.
Santana displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Makkonen throws out the jab.
Makkonen has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Santana thows a left - swing and a miss!

Santana throws a hook but Makkonen blocks it.
Santana loads up on a big right hand but Makkonen slips the punch.
Santana throws out a loose jab but Makkonen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Makkonen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Makkonen takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Santana sends Makkonen crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Santana is motioning to the referee to let Makkonen up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Makkonen is rocked!
It looks like Sam Makkonen has been cut.
Santana feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Makkonen's calf.
Santana missing with a left hand there. Makkonen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Makkonen defending well as Santana loads up on a big left hand.

Makkonen takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Santana lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Makkonen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Santana circles away quickly and effectively.
Santana tests Makkonen's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Makkonen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Makkonen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Santana.
Santana lands a jab to the head.
Makkonen is still on wobbly legs! Can Santana finish him?
Makkonen misses with a few strikes there.
Makkonen seems to have recovered his senses.
Makkonen misses with a right hand
and Santana makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Santana.
Santana thows a body kick. Makkonen tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Santana drops Makkonen with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Makkonen! Santana dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
