Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jim Jabber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nathan Hayway!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabber throws a head kick that misses.
Jabber throws a looping overhand right but Hayway ducks down to avoid it.
Jabber throws an ugly left hook that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Jabber misses with a head kick.
Jabber looks to land a right hand but Hayway moved out of range.
We've been informed that Hayway has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Jim Jabber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hayway takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Jabber stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jabber lands a big head kick that sends Hayway to the canvas! Jabber follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
