Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ferdinand Carney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louie Leatherneck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Louie Leatherneck will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leatherneck tries to clinch up
and Carney counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Leatherneck throws a head kick but Carney moves out of range.

Leatherneck throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Carney was covering up waiting for the punch and Leatherneck finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Carney is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Leatherneck to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Leatherneck shrugs it off.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ferdinand Carney will probably get the nod.

It looks like Ferdinand Carney has been cut.
Carney tries to score a power double leg takedown but Leatherneck sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carney somewhat.

Carney takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Leatherneck slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Horrible takedown attempt by Leatherneck or perhaps it was just good defense by Carney, which made it look bad.

Carney has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Leatherneck's face.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Ferdinand Carney is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
