Ceuref kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is French Fighter. Yo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Yö - Likaiset Legendat kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Timo Yo has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Pepe Ceuref's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yo misses with a looping left.
Yo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ceuref at a distance.
Yo throws a body shot but no joy.
Yo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Come on Ceuref - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Yo tries for a takedown. No joy.

Yo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Ceuref keeping moving, preventing Yo from controlling successfully.
Ceuref avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Yo trying to control the position from guard on top but Ceuref is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Yo throws a strike but Ceuref rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Ceuref slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Yo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ceuref is staying active underneath Yo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Yo is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Yo unloads with some shots from mount but Ceuref bucks and avoids them well.
Yo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ceuref is looking to escape.
Ceuref is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Farrell Pikey Camp, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Ceuref is trying desperately to improve position.
Yo breaks from Ceuref's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Yo thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Ceuref is trying desperately to improve position.
Yo throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Ceuref blocking the ground and pound.
Yo thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Yo fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Yo unloads with some shots from mount but Ceuref bucks and avoids them well.
Yo is landing with some decent strikes but Ceuref is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Ceuref is rocked!
Yo misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Timo Yo dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Yo wants to clinch up but Ceuref keeps it at a distance.
Yo listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Oh Ceuref is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ceuref throws a hook but Yo avoids it easily.
Ceuref takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
An inside leg kick lands from Ceuref.
Yo avoids the head kick by Ceuref.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ceuref.
Ceuref seems to have got his legs back now.
Ceuref circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ceuref is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Yo moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

In his post fight interview, Timo Yo started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
