Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Domino Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Sansing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Domino Kennedy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alan Sansing!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sansing has closed the distance and engaged Kennedy in a clinch.
Kennedy doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Sansing manages to break the clinch.
Kennedy lands with a good body shot.
Kennedy misses with a low kick.
Kennedy tries to bum rush Sansing with a series of wild strikes but Sansing uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sansing gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kennedy.
Sansing fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kennedy misses with a low kick.
Sansing stalks Kennedy and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kennedy's face. Kennedy staggers backwards, shaken.
Sansing lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kennedy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kennedy connects with a crisp jab.
Kennedy looks to land a combination but Sansing avoids it well.
Kennedy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kennedy scores with a sloppy right hand. Sansing should have avoided that one.
Kennedy is looking to clinch.
Domino Kennedy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kennedy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sansing wants to clinch.
Kennedy connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Kennedy throws a hook but Sansing avoids it easily.
Kennedy tries to close the distance and clinch but Sansing swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kennedy misses with a looping left.

Kennedy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sansing paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kennedy throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Sansing decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Kennedy wants to get back to full guard.
Sansing takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Sansing seems to be working for a kimura but Kennedy defends the submission attempt.
Sansing seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kennedy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sansing in particular looking to stall.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sansing working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Sansing is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kennedy is working to get back to half guard.

Sansing has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Sansing is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Sansing is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kennedy defends it well.
Sansing is keen to just control but Kennedy is a slippery customer.

Kennedy tries to roll over but Sansing keeps him under control.
Sansing is looking to take a break and control but Kennedy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kennedy wants to get back to full guard but Sansing has mounted him!

Sansing has control of Kennedy's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kennedy regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Sansing postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kennedy looks a forlorn figure.
BOOM! Sansing connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Alan Sansing showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Kennedy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sansing on the ground.

Kennedy is in a horrible position here. Sansing smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Oh Kennedy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kennedy is desperately trying to improve his position but Sansing has a good base and remains in mount.
Kennedy is working hard here to advance position.
Kennedy takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Sansing's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alan Sansing!
A very excited looking Alan Sansing rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
Domino Kennedy spoke after the fight, saying 'I'll be back, and I'll get better. Thanks for coming and watching me fight tonight, everybody!'.
