The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McQueen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nail.
Nail moves out of range of the leg kick from McQueen.
Nail looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Nail throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Jilly Bean McQueen has been cut.
A solid leg kick lands there for Nail.
McQueen fails with the takedown.
Nail fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McQueen.
Nail definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nail moves out of range of the strikes.
Nail avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nail throws a low kick but it's checked well by McQueen.
Nail moves away from the strike by McQueen.
A thudding body kick lands there by Nail!
Nail stuffs the takedown attempt from McQueen. McQueen gets slowly back to his feet.

McQueen gets a double leg takedown into Nail's guard.
McQueen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nail is keeping the position for now.
Nail knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McQueen on the ground.
Nail has control of McQueen's left arm, preventing McQueen from doing any damage.
McQueen slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McQueen forces his way into half guard.
Nail is trying to maintain the position but McQueen is very close to passing his half guard.

McQueen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Nail defends it well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

McQueen in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Nail tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from McQueen!
