Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jewel Lamb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toni Nuotio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nuotio is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Come With Me Now. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuotio fails to land the takedown.
Lamb throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nuotio closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lamb to the mat! Lamb manages to get full guard.
Lamb bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nuotio's guard.
Nuotio trying to keep a closed guard but Lamb is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nuotio looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lamb is one step ahead there.
Nuotio is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Lamb presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Nuotio wants to break the clinch but can't.

Lamb is trying to force a seperation but Nuotio has the dominant position.
Lamb tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Nuotio smiles and moves away.
Nuotio misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nuotio tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lamb sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nuotio somewhat.
Jewel Lamb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toni Nuotio.
Lamb lands a nice looking body shot.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Nuotio pushes Lamb up against the cage in a clinch.
Nuotio tries for a takedown but Lamb manages to get underhooks.
Lamb is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Nuotio has hold of one of Lamb's legs. Lamb is fighting the takedown attempt but Nuotio gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Lamb pushes Nuotio off and scrambles back to his feet.
Nuotio fails with the takedown
and Lamb counters with a one-two to the body.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Lamb could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lamb is trying to control the action in half guard but Nuotio is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Lamb decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Nuotio scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Nuotio goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lamb rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Nuotio's guard! Nice work there by Lamb!
Lamb is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jewel Lamb dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lamb shoots in for a takedown but Nuotio shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nuotio shoots in and drives through. Lamb sprawls well.
Nuotio has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lamb has Nuotio pressed against the cage, preventing Nuotio from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Lamb's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nuotio looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lamb regains full guard. Nicely done.
Nuotio is breathing heavily.
Nuotio wants to pass the guard but Lamb is keeping the position.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Lamb manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Lamb has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Nuotio avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Lamb tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jewel Lamb. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lamb manages to pull guard.

Lamb manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nuotio manages to get himself to full guard.

Nuotio doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Nuotio wants to hit a switch here but Lamb passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Nuotio there!
Nuotio wants to hold on but Lamb pushes him away.
Nuotio is trying desperately to improve position.
Lamb content just to control the position here.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nuotio can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lamb cracks Nuotio with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Lamb tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Jewel Lamb overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Lamb working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Lamb jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Nuotio manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lamb is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Nuotio looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lamb gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Nuotio is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lamb lets go of the hold and Nuotio can pop his arm back in it's socket.
