The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pettis connects with the punch.
Castro fails with an attempt to clinch.
Castro throws the left hand but Pettis avoids the punch easily.

Pettis cracks Castro with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Castro misses with a straight left.
Castro tries to score with a low kick but Pettis moves his leg out of the way.

Castro throws a right hand that Pettis ducks under and follows up with a left that Pettis also avoids with ease.
Castro takes a swing at Pettis's ribcage but misses.

and Castro counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

The fighters circling - Pettis throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Pettis clobbers Castro with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Castro throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Castro dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Castro swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pettis takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Castro is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Pettis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Castro.

Castro throws a body punch but Pettis moves out of range.

Castro connects with a nice cross there... Pettis is looking wobbly and Castro recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Pettis to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Castro jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
