Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Evan Better (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cus Tomato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Better's entrance music is Mother by Danzig. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomato uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Better.
Tomato misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Some wild striking there from Better.
Better motions for Tomato to come forward. Better throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Better tries to clinch but Tomato is having none of it.
Better takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Better is looking to clinch.
Better looks to score with a jab to the body but Tomato is just out of range.
Better throws a low kick but Tomato avoids it.
Better fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tomato checks it well.
Tomato misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tomato lands a big head kick that sends Better tumbling to the mat! Tomato takes a step backwards and waves Better back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Evan Better has been cut.
Tomato looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Better dives in for a single leg takedown but Tomato sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Tomato throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Better wants to land a leg kick but Tomato is out of range.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Evan Better. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tomato is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Tomato on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Better. Better obviously looking to wear him down.
Better looks to land a combination but Tomato avoids it well.

Tomato buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tomato defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Better.
Better tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tomato swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Evan Better seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Better finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Tomato's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Better falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
