With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Joseph Quigley!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthews looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

It looks like Max Matthews has been cut.
Matthews wants to clinch up but Quigley keeps it at a distance.

Matthews shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Quigley sprawls well. Quigley wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Matthews gets slowly back to his feet.

Matthews is trying to stand up here but Quigley is controlling him well.

Quigley wants to take a breather but Matthews is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Matthews is looking for a sweep. Quigley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

and Quigley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Matthews goes for a double leg but Quigley avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Quigley continues to drive forward.

Quigley is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Matthews gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Matthews is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Quigley is defending well.

Quigley has clasped his hands together around Matthews's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd cheers as Quigley lands an impressive looking overhand right. Matthews doesn't seem phased though.

Matthews uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Quigley.
Joseph Quigley seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Quigley throws a body shot but no joy.
Max Matthews is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Matthews walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Quigley moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

and Quigley counters with a nice right hand that sends Matthews toppling to the canvas! Matthews scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Quigley finish him?!

Quigley is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Matthews is in big trouble! Quigley is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Matthews. Poor guy.
