The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newman throws a half hearted mid kick.
Newman takes a kick to the side of the head.

It looks like Nate Newman has been cut.
Newman scores with a jab to the jaw.
Po throws a front kick aimed at Newman's knee but Newman avoids it well.

Po cracks Newman with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Po has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Newman to stand back up!

Newman is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Newman throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Oh Newman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Newman slips a jab from Po.
Newman throws a body kick that misses.
Newman seems to have got his legs back now.
Newman misses with a body kick.
Newman scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Po avoids the head kick by Newman.
Po lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Newman at a distance.
Po avoids a kick to the body.
Newman tries a head kick but it misses.
Po throws a body punch but Newman moves out of range.

Po uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Newman.
Newman is looking to chop away at Po's legs.
Newman feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Po's calf.
Po blocks a head kick by Newman.
Po looks to score with a jab to the body but Newman is just out of range.
Newman throws a sloppy head kick and Po moves out of range easily.
Po lands a slapping body shot.
Newman fails in his attempt to clinch.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Newman.
Newman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Po takes a jab right on the kisser.
Newman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Po stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Good exchange - Newman coming out on top.
Good leg kick by Po there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Newman throws a head kick but Po moves out of range.
Newman paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Po scores with a sloppy right hand. Newman should have avoided that one.
Nice body kick from Newman.
A head kick from Newman lands but Po takes it in his stride.
Newman throws a front kick that sends Po stumbling back into the cage.
Newman misses with a leg kick.

Newman drops Po with a beautiful combination! Po stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Newman is looking for the KO!

Po is rocked!

Po is still on wobbly legs! Can Newman finish him?
Newman is stalking Po. Po circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Newman, and it's lights out! Po really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
