The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malli jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Malli lands a big uppercut and Whitley crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Whitley looks OK. Malli waves Whitley back to his feet!

Whitley walks straight into a right hand from Malli - that's dropped him! Malli jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Whitley from any more punishment! Whitley complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
