The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Panzerhosen misses with an attempted mid kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Von Panzerhosen. Overeem shrugs it off though.
Overeem fails in his attempt to clinch.
Overeem tries to clinch up but Von Panzerhosen circles away and keeps his distance.
Overeem darts in trying to clinch
and Von Panzerhosen makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Von Panzerhosen lands with a nice body kick.
Von Panzerhosen scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Alistair Overeem has been cut.
Overeem tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Von Panzerhosen paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Von Panzerhosen connects with a right hand. Overeem shakes it off.
Overeem ducks right into an uppercut from Von Panzerhosen.

Overeem is rocked!
Von Panzerhosen lands a front kick.
Overeem is still on wobbly legs! Can Von Panzerhosen finish him?
Overeem looks winded!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Overeem on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Von Panzerhosen rushes Overeem and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Von Panzerhosen gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Von Panzerhosen lands a knee to the body.
Overeem is pressed against the ropes. Von Panzerhosen pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Overeem! Two more big strikes from Von Panzerhosen and Overeem crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
