PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Raekwon The Chef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Udo Hitzlsperger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Chef comes to the cage accompanied by Raekwon - Wu-Gambinos. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Raekwon The Chef!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Udo Hitzlsperger!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Udo Hitzlsperger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've been hearing reports that The Chef has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Hitzlsperger turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hitzlsperger manages to end up in side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Raekwon The Chef will probably get the nod.

A close second round but Udo Hitzlsperger will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
