Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ahmad Salinas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Neto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neto misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Salinas.
Salinas stuffs the takedown.
Salinas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Neto tries to avoid it but Salinas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Neto to the ground. Neto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Neto drives through with a takedown into guard.
Salinas avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neto seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Salinas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Neto shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Salinas but Salinas pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Salinas holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Salinas defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Neto.

Neto decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Salinas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Neto is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Salinas wants to control but Neto is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Salinas is looking for a sweep. Neto is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

A close round but Antonio Neto will probably get the nod.

Neto lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Neto postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Salinas in real trouble here! The ref calls for Salinas to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
