Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lewis Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Payton Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Lewis Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 16 - 1, fighting out of London, Payton Wright!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee ducks under a wild hook from Wright.
Lee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

We've been informed that Wright has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Wright closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lee to the mat! Lee manages to get full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Lee dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wright. That did some damage!

Wright changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Wright manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

We've been hearing good reports from Lee's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lewis Lee.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
