Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luis Alberto Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyron Woodley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hollywood Undead - Hear Me Now . Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Woodley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Perez napping and manages to drive through into side control!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Woodley working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Perez is bucking up trying to escape but Woodley cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Woodley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Perez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Woodley on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
