These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarvela tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sotaheimo was well out of range. Poor timing from Jarvela.
Sotaheimo lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Juhani Jarvela has been cut.

Sotaheimo forces Jarvela back against the cage and clinches.
Jarvela takes a knee right on the jaw!
Sotaheimo is looking to land a big knee to finish this one. He's got control of the head and as Jarvela tries to break Sotaheimo's hands from around his neck, Sotaheimo unloads with that fight ending knee, right up the middle! Oh man, that was nasty! Jarvela will need to get back to the training room and learn how to defend against the thai clinch! Oooh, his nose is a mess. Hopefully it's not broken.
