Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustav Gustafsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gustafsson has chosen Dark Tranquility - The Final Resistance as his entrance music. Gustav Gustafsson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgar displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gustafsson throws out the jab.

Gustafsson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Edgar moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Nice takedown defense from Gustafsson. No joy for Edgar on that attempt.
Gustafsson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Edgar's head backwards.

Gustafsson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Edgar stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gustafsson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Edgar had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Oh Edgar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Edgar has his takedown stuffed
and Gustafsson counters with a huge left! Edgar is in big trouble! He's backing up but Gustafsson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Edgar from any more damage. A dominating finish by Gustafsson!
