Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Fynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Raymond Blake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Fynn!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fynn takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Fynn will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fynn avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fynn. Blake does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fynn checks the leg kick nicely there.
Fynn looks to land a right hand but Blake moved out of range.
Blake is looking to counter punch.
Fynn steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Blake. That one must have hurt.
Blake on the wrong end of a nice jab.
We've been hearing reports that Blake has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Fynn throws a series of punches but Blake avoids them all with ease.
Fynn loads up on a big right hand but Blake slips the punch.
A combination from Fynn does no damage.
An attempted straight right counter from Blake misses the target.
Blake throws a looping overhand right but Fynn ducks down to avoid it.
Fynn cracks Blake with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.


It looks like Raymond Blake has been cut.
Fynn throws a left and a right that both miss
and Blake counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fynn slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Fynn throws a right hand that Blake ducks under and follows up with a left that Blake also avoids with ease.
Fynn thuds a left hand into Blake's body.

Blake throws a hook but Fynn blocks it.
Blake is looking to clinch but Fynn is avoiding it.
Blake tries to work over Fynn's front leg with a kick but Fynn checks it.
Fynn on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Fynn scores with a decent looking hook.
Blake slips a straight right by Fynn.
Fynn throws a looping overhand right but Blake ducks down to avoid it.
Fynn walks into a jab.
Blake moves out of range as Fynn strikes.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fynn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fynn walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Fynn looks to land a left hand but Blake moved out of range nicely.
Fynn ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fynn fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Blake went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fynn looks to land a left hand but Blake moved out of range nicely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fynn fails to land with a series of punches.
Blake throws a shot to the body.
Blake with a jab.
Fynn throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fynn throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Blake.
Nice straight punches there by Fynn. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fynn.

Fynn is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Blake's half guard.
Fynn content to control rather than advance.
Blake is trying to control but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Blake is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Blake regains full guard. Nicely done.

Fynn seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fynn trying to control the position from guard on top but Blake is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fynn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Blake looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Fynn passes into side control.
Fynn laying and praying for a moment but Blake takes advantage and regains half guard.

Fynn stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Blake to get to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bob Fynn dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Raymond Blake's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Fynn has managed to clinch.
Blake working aggressively here.
Blake lands a body shot in the clinch.
Blake tries a body shot but Fynn blocks it.
A head punch on the inside from Blake fails to land.
Fynn lands with a light punch inside.
A short left from Blake.
Blake struggles to land a body shot inside as Fynn controls his hands.
Blake wants to break the clinch but can't.
Blake throws a punch but it's blocked by Fynn.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blake throws a head punch that misses.
Blake working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Blake misses with the head strike.

Fynn manages to break the clinch.
Fynn swinging wildly here.
Bob Fynn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fynn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Blake manages to avoid it.
Fynn throws a hook but Blake avoids it easily.
Fynn scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Blake misses with a looping right.
Fynn throws a predictable looking body shot
and Blake counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fynn lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Blake explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Blake takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.


Blake is rocked!
Blake switches off momentarily and Fynn cracks him with a monster right hand! Blake topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Fynn dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Fynn!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bob Fynn!
