Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mikhael Tomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Mo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tomas tries to avoid it but Mo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tomas to the ground. Tomas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tomas misses with a takedown attempt - Mo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Mo scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Tomas moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Mo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Tomas is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mo defends well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mo throwing strikes from guard but Tomas blocks nicely.

Mo won't allow Tomas to get back to his feet.
Mo tries to stand but Tomas is controlling from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Mo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tomas circles away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Mo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tomas keeps the fight on the outside.

Tomas shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mo's guard.

Tomas is looking for a kimura but Mo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tomas to get the leverage.
Mo wants to get back to his feet.

Tomas wants to pass to mount but Mo is defending the position.
Tomas is taking a breather. Mo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Tomas moves into full mount! Mo won't be happy about that!
Mo is desperately trying to improve his position but Tomas has a good base and remains in mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Tomas trying to control but Mo is having none of it.

Mo has his takedown stuffed

and Tomas decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mo's guard.
Tomas is pushing down on Mo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mo is fighting to maintain full guard but Tomas has managed to sneak the leg through.
Mo wants to get back to full guard.

Tomas is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Mo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tomas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tomas looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tomas is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tomas lands a nice shot to the head.

Mo defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Tomas.
Tomas avoids the attempt from Mo to control.

Mo is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Tomas is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Mo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Mo is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Mo is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Tomas has taken his back.
Mo wants to control his opponent's hands but Tomas gets his hands free.

Mo won't enjoy being in this position. Tomas looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Mo is tapping - it's over boys! Tomas picks up the submission victory!
