Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fei Yue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melekh David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melekh David has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fei Yue!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Melekh David!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
David wants to slow Yue down by chopping away at his legs.
Yue misses with a straight right.
Yue keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from David.
David changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yue tries to avoid it but David manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yue to the ground. Yue escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
David slips a jab from Yue.
Yue throws a shot from downtown. David moves away and avoids it.
A nice leg kick lands there from David.

Yue gets caught flat footed, as David shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
David wants to pass the guard but Yue is keeping the position.
Yue has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

David is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Yue's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Yue's back!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now David is on top in guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Fei Yue will probably get the nod.

Melekh David showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

David turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Yue is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Good leg kick by David there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Melekh David comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well David has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
